Vyktoria Pratt Keating: Celtic

Celtic Music
Vyktoria Pratt Keating's music has been described as "some of the most freehanded, lithe and resilient music around"
by The Washington Post. Having completed a 42 show opening tour for Jethro Tull, she is currently promoting her 4th
CD “Things That Fall From The Sky” produced by Tull keyboardist Andrew Giddings.

In addition to her original music, Vyktoria performs Celtic and Renaissance music with an instinctive authenticity and feeling
that pulls deep from her Scottish roots. Having released a Celtic CD entitled "After The Gathering", she specializes in
songs that have a compelling storyline, from haunting ballads to rousing bawdy numbers and a few a-cappella tunes thrown
in to showcase her pure vibrant voice. Having lived in England, she soaked up the culture of the British Isles, both past
and present, which comes through charmingly in her concert presentations.

She is the recipient of 3 Wammie Awards (Washington DC Music Awards) and has performed in 46 states and the UK,
including venues such as England's Apollo Theater, Concord Pavilion, The GreekTheater, and The Royal Concert Hall in
Glasgow Scotland. A compelling performer, her unearthly vocals and accomplished guitar work produce lush arrangements
and a full sound in her concerts, while her spontaneity, warmth and intelligent humor are an engaging part of her live show.

“Vyktoria creates musical magic that throws you into medieval forests, galaxy-hopping spaceships and modern
urban sidewalks all at once...” (The Octopus)
